MARIANA BEVACQUA: piano, compositions et arrangements
Argentinian pianist and composer, she studied piano at the National Conservatory López Buchardo (Buenos Aires, Argentine) and the University Federal do Paraná (Curitiba, Brazil). She qualified with a specialisation in piano-tango at the Popular Music School of Avellaneda (Buenos Aires) where she also studied with Rodolfo Mederos, Anibal Arias, Rodolfo Alchourrón and Beba Pugliese.
She furthered her classical piano technique with the Argentinean pianist Susana Bonora, during also 6 years. She studied composition at the Municipal Conservatory Manuel de Falla (Buenos Aires) and in Milan with Andrea Canzi and Caterina Calderoni.
She has collaborated as a pianist with several tango groups in Argentina (Pura Maña, Mariela Passeri cuarteto), in Italy (Nuevos Aires, TangoSeis) and in France (Tangazos, Once tangos). She has played numerous concerts and has performed for television.
As a composer she is the author of several pieces, i.e. the soundtrack of the movie "Hijos-Figli" directed by Marco Bechis (Italy, 2001) and the sound universe of the show "Sacré Printemps" by the Théâtre Fantastique Company, in Paris (MAC Créteil, 2004). She received first prize for the tango "Grito Final" in the contest Hugo del Carril from the Secretariat of Culture of the Government of Buenos Aires (2000). She recorded the CD "Buenos Tangos" (Halidon, Italy, 2003) with the Nuevos Aires ensemble, in that she composed and arranged part of the music. She composed and recorded the music of the CD "Antiborges", on texts of the poet Simone Bandirali (Acquaviva, Italy, 2004) with the participation of the famous poet Alda Merini.
She has always been very attracted by the theatre. She takes acting classes and works as a pianist-actress.
At present, she lives in Paris, where she collaborates with different tango groups and diverse theatre companies. She is presently studying computing composition at the Paris 8 University, and she works since seven years in the FULANAS duo with the singer Paóla Fernandez Dell'Erba, in the stylistic search of the feminine tango and in the composition of new works.

PAOLA FERNÁNDEZ DELL’ERBA: voice and compositions
Argentinean singer, her work investigates the international popular music, singing the Argentinean tango, Latin-American folklore and jazz.
She studied in Buenos Aires :vocal techniques with Matilde Pereyra –SADEM-, popular repertoire with Horacio Alcorta; and in Milan: vocal techniques with the soprano Shuko Takahashi and Jazz singing at the CPSM of the Milan Conservatory.
She has performed concerts singing tango, in numerous cities in Argentina. She has completed several tours in Europe, in Spain, France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Hungary. She has collaborated with important musicians of the South Americain and European circuit, including the group La Milonguera with whom she recorded the CD "El Viejo y la Luna" (Buenos Aires 2000). Frequently, she collaborates with the group TangoSeis with whom she makes the show "Tangasos" and the italien tour of the Miguel Angel Zotto’s company Tango x 2. She creates the duo FULANAS with the pianist Mariana Bevacqua (On the stylistic search of the tango and his feminine tradition) with whom she recorded the CD "Antiborges" (Milan, 2004) of Simone Bandirali whit the collaboration of the famous poet Alda Merini. She collaborates with the guitarist Javier Pérez Forte and with the group of South American folklore-tango-jazz Nuevos Aires with whom she recorded the CD "Buenos Tangos" (Milan, 2002).
She lives in Milan at present where she continues her Etnomusicologia's studies in the Università degli studi of Milan.
